Does your role involve, impact, or support (or detract from) the financial health of the nonprofit organization you serve?  Do you need a better understanding of nonprofit finances?  Are you looking for ways to communicate the organization’s financial health with your board? Are you not sure how to answer those questions?  This session might be just for you.

This training will provide a general overview of the various aspects of nonprofit financial responsibilities in addition to answering how finance and accounting can support organizational strategy.  This training will include a high-level overview of budgeting, internal controls, financial reporting for internal and external needs, forecasting and projecting, and operating reserves.
