Boone County Community Endowment Job Announcement

Boone County Endowment Foundation (BCEF) is seeking a contracted professional to serve as their Philanthropy Director.   

The mission of the BCEF is to foster private giving, strengthen service providers and improve the conditions of the county. The Philanthropy Director will build relationships with current and prospective donors, partner with area nonprofits, and be a resource for area professional advisors. This will be done in partnership with an enthusiastic BCEF advisory board who represent communities across Boone County. The Philanthropy Director will have the opportunity to build upon recent success that will support Boone County communities now, and well into the future. In the past five years, BCEF and its charitable fund holders have distributed more than $850,000 in grants to Boone County nonprofits.    

BCEF is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, who will hold the contract with the individual or organization.  

This is a contract position; the chosen candidate will be paid an annual stipend commensurate to experience and qualifications. Boone County Community Endowment Fund Grants

Grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and government entities serving Boone County. Grant selections are made in an effort to create a better quality of life for people in Boone County. The local governing committee reviews the applications from charitable organizations serving their community.
