The mission of the Foundation for the Enhancement of Mitchell County (FEMC) is to foster private giving, strengthen service providers and improve the conditions of Mitchell County. To these ends, the Foundation will promote endowment building, grant making, organizational collaboration, and public leadership for the benefit of the Mitchell County area.

Enhancement of Mitchell County Grants
Grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and government entities serving Mitchell County. Grant selections are made in an effort to create a better quality of life for people in Mitchell County. The local governing committee reviews the applications from charitable organizations serving their community.
