Charitable Giving Advisor
The Charitable Giving Advisor plays a vital role in the achievement of the Community Foundation’s overall charitable giving goals. This position also works with charitable partners, such as corporations, professional advisors, nonprofit organizations and individual donors. Key strategies of the position include: working with donors to establish charitable giving funds, including donor pipeline development and management; providing strategic giving services and offering tax-wise charitable giving strategies; complex gift acceptance and stewarding relationships through year-round engagement with assigned fund holders.

Community Impact Coordinator
The Community Impact Coordinator plays an important role in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Community Impact Department through effective project management. With direction, this position serves as the lead staff member in executing logistics of the grantmaking programs including nonprofit applicant support and internal procedures. In addition, this position provides project management for all nonprofit capacity building initiatives as well as the Community Foundation’s leadership engagement throughout Greater Des Moines. Reporting to the Chief Community Impact Officer, the Community Impact Coordinator serves as an integral part of the Community Foundation’s grantmaking, nonprofit sector support and community leadership strategies.

The Finance Associate provides administrative support to the Community Foundation Finance Department. This position supports the finance and fund administration responsibilities of the Community Foundation in addition to providing backup support for reception duties and other administrative activities.
