Honoring the Legacy of Teree Caldwell-Johnson

Along with her family, friends and all she touched, we join together in community to honor and celebrate the life of our friend, Teree Caldwell-Johnson.

Throughout her lifetime, Teree made a career of improving the communities of which she was a part through active participation to better systems for persons of all races, ages and orientation. She was tireless in her efforts to raise others to achieve their full potential and create systems to ensure their success.

As President and CEO of Oakridge Neighborhood Services, she worked to provide equal opportunity to thousands of local residents of all ages. She was a 20-year school board member of Des Moines Public Schools and active in many other community organizations. She was truly a dedicated advocate and champion for everyone that calls Des Moines home.
