Iowa has some of the richest soils in the world, yet we import 90 percent of our food. Farmers are changing this landscape for good through Practical Farmers of Iowa. PFI was founded in 1985 - by farmers, for farmers - as a response to the farm crisis. Join PFI's vision of healthy soil and food, clean water and air, and vibrant farms and communities.
