Right now, the Urbandale Food Pantry is seeing record-breaking demand. Families who have never needed help before are walking through our doors, some missing paychecks due to the federal shutdown, others struggling to make ends meet after reductions or delays in SNAP benefits.

In just the past week, we’ve welcomed over hundreds of new families, served hundreds of visits daily, and distributed thousands of pounds of food — all while continuing to provide dignity, compassion, and stability to those we serve.
