Keeping Pets Loved

Project Description

The Pet Project is an all volunteer-run organization dedicated to keeping local pets in their homes with the people who love them. We do so through four proactive programs:
-Pet Pantry: Provides pet food for five months to Des Moines area residents facing financial hardships
-Paws for Life: Provides pet food for the life of the pet for those whose financial hardships are permanent
-AniMeals: Provides pet food to those who receive Meals on Wheels
-Iowa Pet Alert: Reunites lost/found pets and their parents across the state
