Affordable Housing Initiative in Highland Park

Project Description

Help Highland Park CDA, Inc. raise $75,000 by October 31st in order to receive a $100,000 matching gift. This project focuses on creating an opportunity for affordable rental housing to be built and maintained for at least the next 20 years! With the foundation of the home completed already, this funding support will go toward finishing construction with the goal of a family being able to move in by early 2026. This project is unique in that the size of this home will be able to accommodate a larger family (extended family) and keep them all housed together comfortably without the worry of being over allowed city occupancy codes. Highland Park CDA, Inc.'s goal is to use this home as a visible model of what affordable housing can look like for low-income families to live with dignity and pride right here in Greater Des Moines!
