DonorConnect is a conversation series designed to bring our community together to learn about and discuss our region’s most pressing issues and promising opportunities.
At this session of DonorConnect, you’ll hear real stories of innovation and bold collaboration. These partnerships demonstrate how working together creates greater impact for families and communities across Central Iowa. You’ll hear from:
- IMPACT Community Action Partnership, CEO Anne Bacon: How co-location created the Community Resource Connection in Ankeny to better serve neighbors in-need.
- The Great Outdoors Foundation, CEO Hannah Inman: How back-office support allows multiple conservation organizations to thrive.
- Project Iowa, Executive Director Julie Fugenschuh: How the Rooted Model helps organizations share staffing to expand opportunities.
- Ellipsis, Past Executive Director Chris Koepplin: How two organizations merged to deepen a collective commitment to youth and families.
In times of change, missions matter more than ever, and nonprofits are finding sustainable solutions that keep us moving forward, together. You’ll walk away with:
- A clear picture of how collaboration can strengthen nonprofits you care about, and how the Community Foundation supports this work through Strategic Alignment Grant funding.
- Insights into how giving supports sustainability, innovation, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Inspiration for how strategic alignment can make a bigger difference — together.
Join us to see how the power of partnerships has the potential to transform the way organizations serve our community.
