Travel Assistance Award Program

Project Description

We need support to strengthen and expand our Travel Assistance Award Program so we can better meet the growing needs of families facing serious pediatric medical challenges. An investment from the greater Des Moines community would directly further our mission by allowing us to increase the level of financial assistance available to families in the area, ensuring they can access necessary care without undue financial hardship.

This investment would allow us to serve more families, provide more meaningful support, and reduce the financial barriers that often prevent families from staying together during critical medical journeys—directly advancing both our program goals and organizational mission.
