PrideFest Wellness Zone Cardio Dance & Silent Disco

Project Description

Capital City Pride is seeking support for the Cardio Dance and Silent Disco activities in the Wellness Zone during PrideFest weekend. These are two of the most popular and highly attended experiences at PrideFest, drawing attendees of all ages who are looking for fun, connection, movement, and celebration in an inclusive environment.

This support will directly fund Pride-themed props and activity supplies that help elevate the attendee experience and create an energetic, interactive atmosphere throughout the weekend. Support will provide pom-poms for participants in Cardio Dance classes, adding excitement, encouragement, and engagement to the activity. It will also provide glow sticks for attendees to use during both nights of the Silent Disco, helping transform the space into a vibrant, colorful, and memorable Pride experience.

These props help make movement and music-based activities feel more approachable, engaging, and welcoming for attendees of all ages and comfort levels. Pom-poms create energy and connection during Cardio Dance, while glow sticks encourage participation and celebration throughout the Silent Disco. Supporting these activities helps create joyful spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals, families, allies, and visitors can celebrate, connect, and fully participate in the PrideFest experience.
