Grief Camp for Children & Families

Project Description

Camp Legacy honors and celebrates families who lost a loved one who gave the gift of organ and tissue donation. Camp Legacy is one-day experience, free of charge, for children and teens aged 6-17 and the specials adults in their lives who support them through life and through grief.

Campers and their families have the opportunity to meet other children, teens, and families who have also been impacted by the death of a loved one. It is a time for connection, community, understanding they are not grieving alone, and celebrating the life and legacy of their loved one.

Funds raised support facility rental, activity supplies, meals, and professional grief services for attendees.
