Project Description

In 2025–2026, the Science Center of Iowa celebrates 55 years of making STEM—science, technology, engineering, and math—accessible and inspiring across Iowa communities. Through hands-on exhibits, live demos, and statewide programs for learners of all ages and educators, we ignite curiosity and fuel discovery.

Here’s the reality: admission fees only cover 65% of what it takes to deliver these experiences. The rest depends on people like you who believe that everyone, regardless of background, should have the chance to see themselves as a scientist, engineer, or innovator. Science knows no limits.

Your contribution today helps SCI reach even more Iowans in 2026 and beyond.
• A gift of $100 offsets the cost for one family of 4 to attend free monthly Sensory Hours
• A gift of $250 covers reduced admission for 35 school field trip students
• A gift of $500 or more supports Open Hours in the Innovation Lab.
