Project Description

Premier Payee Inc is a small nonprofit human services organization located in Polk County, Iowa. Our goal is simple yet powerful: “One team. One mission. Every person empowered.”

We proudly serve over 40 adults with disabilities who live within their chosen communities. Our dedicated team provides support with daily living activities, as well as social and leisure opportunities that enrich lives.

One of the most exciting initiatives created by the individuals we serve is their “Social Club.” Each month, they design a calendar of events and activities they want to enjoy. Our team then helps make these experiences possible.

Currently, transportation to these events requires multiple employee vehicles—sometimes five or more—traveling in a caravan. To make this process safer, more efficient, and more inclusive, the Social Club has asked for an 8-passenger minivan.

After careful research, we estimate the total cost for an entry-level minivan—including registration, insurance, and start-up expenses—at approximately $50,000. As a small agency, this is a significant investment we cannot achieve alone.
