Intended Audience: Nonprofit staff or board members who are interested in feeling more confident in building and implementing the organization’s budget.

A clear, thoughtful budget is one of the most powerful tools a nonprofit has, but for many, it can feel overwhelming or overly technical. This session is designed to demystify the basics and build confidence in creating and managing a budget that supports your organization’s mission. 

Jessica will use her vast nonprofit finance experience to walk through the core components of a nonprofit budget, explore how to align revenue and expenses and provide practical tips for monitoring performance throughout the year. Whether you’re new to budgeting or looking for a refresher, this session will provide a solid foundation you can immediately put into practice.
