Project Description

Make It OK is a community campaign to reduce the stigma around mental health by starting conversations and increasing understanding of mental illnesses.Stigma is the greatest barrier preventing those suffering from mental illness from getting the help they need.

We work to educate Iowans and get conversations going in workplaces and communities to normalize mental illnesses through free resources, awareness campaigns, and trained Make It OK Ambassadors across Iowa.

A $50 donation covers the costs for one Make It OK Ambassador to be trained. These ambassadors spread the Make It OK message in their own communities to destigmatize mental illness, share resources, and begin important conversations around mental health.

Together we can end mental illness stigma in Iowa and make it ok to not be ok!
