Hopeful Families Collection

Project Description

The Hopeful Families Collection is an initiative to bring books about the diverse ways families are created into public and school libraries. These titles, which share stories of IVF, adoption, surrogacy, and donor conception, are not currently available in many libraries, leaving families without representation or resources. Each collection includes 25 carefully curated books, a custom donor sticker, and shipping if needed, at a cost of $465. Our first full set will be placed in the Ankeny Public Library this year, and with your support, we hope to expand to libraries across Des Moines and surrounding communities, ensuring all families are seen and celebrated.
