Harm Reduction Vending Machine #2!

Interest Areas: Health | Human Services
Goal: $15,000
Funding Deadline: September 30, 2025
Giving Type: Timely Need

Project Description

Thanks to community support, our first harm reduction vending machine—installed in April 2025 outside the Polk County Health Department—has been an overwhelming success. So successful, in fact, that it is being restocked twice a day to keep up with demand!

This machine provides 24/7 access to life-saving and stigma-free resources like Narcan, emergency contraception, condoms, gun locks, menstrual period products, sharps containers, and more—all free of charge and without barriers like ID, payment, or registration.

The message is clear: when we reduce barriers, people use these resources. Lives are saved. Health outcomes improve. And dignity is preserved.

Now, we’re ready to expand.

We’re seeking funding to launch a second harm reduction vending machine in a new high-need area of our community—because one machine simply isn’t enough. Your support can help us meet growing demand and reach even more people with the tools they need to stay safe and healthy.

With your help, we can expand access, reduce stigma, and save lives.

Donate today to help us launch our second harm reduction vending machine. Together, we can meet people where they are—and make health equity a reality.
