Cash flows can be difficult to understand and explain but are key to long-term mission sustainability. This session explains cash flows, how to plan them and how to communicate your organization’s cash flow needs in a changing funding environment.
Jessica will utilize her extensive background in nonprofit finance to help the audience explore how cash flow planning differs from budgeting, why reserves are critical to financial sustainability and how organizations can use practical strategies to improve the timing of inflows and outflows.
