Sweeten the Deal! Free cupcakes with purchase of Giving Cards

Sweeten the Deal this holiday shopping season with the Community Foundation and Crème Cupcake + Dessert. Crème Cupcake + Dessert is offering a free cupcake for each Giving Card purchased December 11-18, 2012.

Crème Cupcake + Dessert chooses a local charity to support each month. Owner Christina Moffatt says supporting Giving Cards in December is a great fit for her business because it encourages giving back around the holidays.

 

"It is in our mission statement that we will give back to our community, and there is no better way to do this than supporting Giving Cards which benefit so many great local nonprofits," Moffatt says.

 

Giving Cards are unique holiday gifts that promote charitable giving and provide a giving opportunity that allows the recipient of the card to direct it to benefit any 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

 

Here's how it works:

 

• Purchase Giving Cards to celebrate a special occasion such as a holiday, birthday or job well done. In addition to a free cupcake for cards purchased December 11-18 the purchaser also receives a charitable tax deduction.

• Pass it on! The person who receives the Giving Card redeems the card and selects the charity he or she wishes to support.

• You've shared the joy of giving and charitable organizations benefit as we build a better community together. Redeem your cupcake by December 31, 2012!

Cupcakes must be redeemed by December 31, 2012, and there is a six cupcake limit per purchaser.
