Jan. 2, 2024

The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its board of directors: Todd Millang with Millang Capital and Kuuku Saah with Ntontan RE.

Todd Millang has worked with CBRE for the better part of two decades, working with clients such as Kum and Go, Sammons Financial and First American Bank. Millang has also spent time volunteering with many organizations in the Des Moines area including United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Emerging Leaders Initiative.

Kuuku Saah is the co-owner of Mars Café and is partner at Ntontan RE. Saah has volunteered with a variety of organizations including the Des Moines Music Coalition, One Economy Financial Development Corp. and Bravo Greater Des Moines.

“The Community Foundation sends a warm welcome to Todd and Kuuku as they join our board of directors. Their diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to our mission serves as a catalyst for positive change,” shares Community Foundation President Kristi Knous. “With the addition of these new board members, we are entering a new chapter of growth and impact as their presence will undoubtedly elevate our collective efforts to make our organization better together.”

Our board members carry out the Community Foundation’s mission of improving quality of life for all by promoting charitable giving, connecting donors with causes they care about and providing leadership on important community issues.

In 2024 we are also welcoming current board members to new leadership positions. Susan Fitzsimmons is now the chair of the board with Debbie Hubbell serving as vice chair. Gerry Neugent continues to serve as board secretary and Steve Lacy continues to serve as board treasurer.
