Storytelling: Elevating Voices for Impact
Nonprofit organizations have amazing stories to tell. And donors, community members and potential clients rely on those stories to help inspire engagement with an organization and ultimately bring the mission to life. As staff and board members are focused on ensuring quality programming and raising funds to sustain important work, it is also critical to inspire the public to support and amplify your mission. While many professionals are able to intuitively identify a good story, the process of crafting the most compelling can be more elusive. In this workshop, learn how to develop and share impactful stories that honor the voices that can best share the impact of your work. Attendees will also discover strategies on how to leverage storytelling as a positive vehicle for fostering more inclusive communities and celebrating diverse voices.
When: This training is being offered in a cohort model. You will select one cohort to participate in and each cohort will have two zoom sessions. The second session builds off of the first so please plan to attend both sessions in your cohort.
