DonorConnect is a conversation series designed to bring our community together to learn about and discuss our region’s most pressing issues and promising opportunities.

With record levels of food insecurity throughout Greater Des Moines, combined with economic factors and rising costs, our community came together to launch the Central Iowa Food Security Plan last year and the work continues. Join us to hear more about the progress of this collaborative and connected community effort focused on addressing the challenge. You will learn how organizations are currently working together to serve our neighbors in need by providing equitable and dignified services as well as their vision for the future.

Additionally, help further the efforts of one of those partners, Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC), by volunteering your time! An optional two-hour volunteer opportunity will precede the program.
