Better Together Fund Spotlight

DonorConnect is a conversation series designed to bring our community together to learn about and discuss our region’s most pressing issues and promising opportunities.  

It has been said that home is where the heart is and 2024 was a year of significant grant investments into nonprofit organizations focused on making Greater Des Moines a true home for many. The Beacon Village, ChildServe’s Des Moines Center, Anawim Housing’s Monarch Apartments and Ellipsis’ A Place for Girls will provide transformative support to youth, individuals and families at pivotal times in their lives. Join us to hear directly from these 2024 Community Foundation Leadership Grant recipients about their projects and the impact they are having for our neighbors. Leadership Grants are made possible by the Better Together Fund and are centered around equity and support projects with the potential to create significant impact.
