View our fee schedule.  Funds range in size from ten thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars.

You can establish a fund at a lower cost with more tax benefits than private foundations, and the Community Foundation handles all of the administrative details.

A fund at the Community Foundation (a public charity) is more advantageous than having your own private foundation and more personal than a commercial gift fund.  The Community Foundation also provides access to Endow Iowa Tax Credits.  Endow Iowa allows taxpayers to receive a 20% Iowa tax credit in addition to normal state and federal charitable incomes tax deductions for certain charitable gifts.  (We encourage donors to consult with a tax advisor to review their individual circumstances).

View our Fund Type Comparison to see all of the advantages.

The Community Foundation's Donor Advised Fund Guidelines outline the fund's purpose and how it will operate. We encourage donors to consult with a tax advisor to review their individual circumstances.
