After more than 25 years of personally stewarding the Easter Family Fund, the trustees established a donor advised fund with the Community Foundation in order to advance their family’s philanthropic interests.

“The trustees of the former A. E. Easter Family Foundation have always focused their philanthropic gifts on arts, education, human needs and community betterment. The donor advised nature of this fund ensures that the causes our family cares deeply about including Drake University, the Des Moines Symphony and United Way will continue to benefit from our annual giving for generations to come.”
